Anita Schjølset has succesfully defended her doctoral dissertation "Institutional Variance of the Democratic Peace, 1816-2002: Electoral, Executive and Federal Systems in Time and Space" at University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Her disertation is in Political Science and has in part been carried out at PRIO.
