Research Interests

The focus of my MA thesis in political science is on Military Interventions and Democratization (see project description in righthand box). The assumption that democracies do not wage war against each other may encourage some governments to take action to expand the democratic sphere, including through the use of violence. The thesis examines the effect of military intervention conducted by democratic countries in the period 1960 to 1996.
